There chance is as good as anyone else's. It is early, but they do have the talent.
Chicago should be good this season too.

They have the best chance on paper it looks like. With adding Marian Hossa and signing others, we have a great chance. Better than last years I would think. so I would highly think that Detroit might actually pull it off this year again. The last team to win back to back Stanley Cups was no other than the Detroit Red Wings!

Detroit always has a team to make a serious run for the cup.

Ummmmm Well Yes They Can Win Another One But They Wont & I Don't Want Them Too. I Want My San Jose Sharks Too Win & If Not Then I'd Go With My Second Favorite Team The Pittsburgh Penguins.

They certainly are the deserving early favorites and without question have the talent needed to win it again. Being a Wings fan I have high hopes but the Cup is to be earned on the ice every year. There are a lot of teams that have enough talent to challenge and who knows which team stays healthy enough to bring home the Cup. Like every year the winner will earn it the hard way, there is no other sport where you have to endure such a tough 16 wins situation. I dont know so much that America loves a winner, have you read the hate that people dump on the Patroits? And there are plenty of Wing bashers in this forum too, havent you heard how we buy winners? Even though almost 2/4 of the team are guys they drafted.
