Why does the denver broncos coach mike shanahan and al davis hate each other.?

i was just wondering cause shanahan is always talking about this but doesnt say what happened. thanks

Al Davis insulted him, and other players ie.- Marcus Allen.

Mike Shanahan has always carried a public grudge, and is happy with a 2-14 season if they beat the Radiers twice.

Mike is class, and Al is a has been. No offense- Al has done great things for the AFL, and the NFL... he's just getting old and has control issues- to a fault.

Davis fired him and Shanahan went to coach the Bronco, And raider's biggest rival was the Broncos so that why they hate each other

Things did not go too well for Shanahan when he was the coach of the Raiders. The one thing I know is that Davis let him go, and I'm guessing Shanahan did not like that so the relationship has not been cordial ever since then.

Davis fired Shanahan quite a while back, and that's all I know. Shanahan has held a grudge ever since.
