Default What hotel in San Diego is closest to the Qualcomm Stadium where the chargers play?

I am looking for a Semi Nice hotel. Not too fancy and expensive but not dirt cheap.

Yes, anything in Mission Valley but you can also stay in Old Town, Little Italy and even at the marina if you don't mind a short trolley ride. The Trolley dumps right in Qualcomm.

Super 8 motel is pretty close. It's on Mission Gorge St. Look it up. It would take 20 minutes to walk there. Get some exercise done. \''/

Any of the hotels in Hotel Circle would be really close to the stadium. Here's a list: http://www.sandiego-romantics.com/Hotel-Circle.html

The Marriott-San Diego Mission Valley is a little over a mile walking distance from the stadium. A lot of local people park on this street and walk to the stadium. The other hotels are a longer walk or a short ride on the trolley.
The Super 8 San Diego/ Mission Valley Area is also about the same distance in the other direction. This hotel is basically next to a traffic circle.
=========================
The problem with Mission Valley hotels is that they can get extremely expensive if there is multiple things happening at once in the city. The Marriot may be more of what you are looking for, but sometimes even the Super 8 is hundreds of dollars per night.
=========================
Someone mentioned the DoubleTree. This is a long walk, but it is located in a nice shopping center with a Joe's Crab Shack, Movie Theaters, Coffee shops, and bookstores. There is a trolley stop right nearby. I would choose to stay there over the Marriot and take the trolley.

The Doubletree in Mission Valley is nice and literally directly across the street from the trolley. It takes 10 minutes tops to get to Qualcomm and you don't have to pay for parking.
