Default Did the referees, not the Patriots, cheat the St. Louis Rams in Super Bowl XXXVI?

I was sifting through blog pages last night and this long-time Rams fan absolutely thinks so:

From the beginning of time people have been blaming officials for their loses. When your sitting at home watching 10 different angles and slow mo rewind 200 times the official made his call 1 time at full speed. There is always going to be human error in games. Look how many the players make, it is part of the game. If the Rams wanted to win they should have played harder in the first half. Stop blaming people and own up to your laziness Ram's.

face it - the zebras make some bad calls sometimes. they also call some games differently than others. it only becomes a problem when a team loses and call is to harshly enforced or not enforced.

the big question is did the Patriots gain an unfair competive advantage over the Rams by circumventing the rules and integrety of sportsmanship.
