Default Washington Wizards not for Gilbert Arenas?

I don't know why I thought of this but,it just doesn't seem like a right place for a first-rate point guard.

lol Washington is delusional for spending their franchise on this guy.

He's not a even a good point guard first off. He's a shoot first combo guard who has no idea how to pass, defend, or set up an offense.

I don't know why Washington gave this guy such a ridiculous offer sheet. Did any other team in the NBA that was under the cap offer him anything? Honestly, Washington could have offered him whatever they wanted since no other NBA team would even come close to what this fool was asking for. He's just not a team player.

He will do nothing for your team to win, only make himself look good and pad his own stats.

Sure he does a ton of scoring, but he probably allows more points on defense.

Well, I hope atleast Washington's happy with him =/

I agree Gilbert would fit nicely with the Bulls

I think it is the place for him. He is the face of the Wizards in the post MJ era, and he is a big reason (along with Jamison, Butler, and Larry Hughes) why Washington is a legit perennial playoff team instead of the doormat of the NBA that it was throughout the 80's and 90's.

Besides, people give Arenas a rap for being a "shoot first" PG or a "SG in a PG's body". There is no such thing as "true position" in my eyes. He's just a great player, and helps the team win, and the best role for him in DC is as the point guard, or the engine of the offense, whether he scores 50 or dishes out 10 assists. And after all, Jamison AND Butler (Hughes in 04-05) all are 20 ppg scorers too. With Arenas, Jamison, Butler, Stevenson, and Haywood, the Wizards are a fast tempo team like what we saw in most of 2006-2007, and with the somewhat better defense of last year, they can be a force.

gilbert arenas belongs in the twilight zone

the zone where the little aliens play and eat their own basketballs and can fly in the mickey mouse house go to disney and then disappear

there's also arenas cousin that jumps very high and his brother that jumps very low
arenas knows the Truth he knows that everybody lies and makes up stories about him sleepwalking and going into the everest to play against a mountain

his dad is very handsome but he knows the truth he flies through the sky and into hoops-ville to play ball with his little pet dog that has superpowers
arenas knows what he is doing he can not be stopped topped he eats vegetables and knows the difference between Truth and lies

It's not the matter of what team he is on, but how well he's going to try to make his teammates better, but instead, he does three things each game: Shoot, shoot, and sometimes pass. They should convert him to SG and start Antonio Daniels and they would really rock, although an upgrade at Center wouldn't hurt.

I think Arenas should play his true position, which is shooting guard. Anyways I think he would match best in an explosive setting, like Golden State or Phoenix.
