What up a_man,
Kobe had a bad performance in game one. His shot selection was questionable- and the Lakers ball movement stalled a little bit in the 2nd half. It wasn't entirely his fault- in that the Lakers didn't hit the post early enough.
i think he was still trying to feel out the game- and the Lakers were terrible from the three point line tonight. i think they will make adjustments and as the Lakers move the ball and hit some threes- that will open up lanes for: Kobe, Gasol, and Odom. i thought Odom could have drove more, and the Lakers had a couple of very sloppy pick and rolls that resulted in turnovers and fast break opportuniites for the Celtics.
In terms of being scared- no! The Celtics defense did a good job- but Kobe did miss a lot of shots early that he normally makes and that just carried over.
We'll see what adjustments they make between now and Sunday- i expect a much better game 2 effort from the Lakers and Kobe.
