i suppose they will get tougher and more defensive and offenisve minded. they can acquire ron artest as a solid defender and he will bring that edge dallas really needs! we can a lso get shawn marion if the heat want to make a deal, maybe elton brand as a strong center and waive off dampier. the mavs should also pursue young atheltic players like andrea bargnani who can be the next nowitzki [but not as good!], maybe even joe johnson from the hawks. or maybe monta ellis?...its somthing to think about,eh?

Mark Cuban will play point gaurd for his team next year... in a desparation move to save money and win a championship only to tear his ACL in the first game and be unable to sit with the fans for the rest of the season.

Well they're starting out w/ a new coach for sure. If dumbass cuban hopefully will consult into make some major good trades to help Dirk & Kidd out since he's traded off their youth.
Keep what they have & build, do not get rid of Josh Howard. I think they need to get a Defensive minded coach & put them back on the way they were goin. If not the run & gun bs w/ the high scoring, they'll continue to in not being able to get outta the first round. Dirk will get them to that point.
I've always liked the Mavericks since way back in the Rolando Blackmon days. Anyone remember him? Badass brother who carried Mavs for many yrs before Dirk came along. kk thats all i gotta say about that..mavs hope they can do something to get back to somewhat a formidible team..

Ron Artest

Dallas and LA are currently intrested in Artest and the Kings are intrested in Josh Howard

Well I don;t know because I am not Mark Cuban. But I think they should look at the Free Agents. They should look for a solid SF and Josh Howard would come off the bench and play.Maybe he would be better off the bench like Jason Terry is. Also they should get Gilbert Arenas.

well now that kidd trade is a little awkward isn't it? maybe they should go after gilbert arenas, and trade for ron artest...i think that sounds legit...gilbert is looking for max dollars somewhere, and josh howard for ron artest isn't bad.

Casey Jacobsen: He needs to get a good opprotunity and a starting spot. With Josh Howard not returning, it would be a great move for both players and a great deal for both teams.
