Like all dogs, you need them to be registered, I am not sure of the price in cook, but in dupage its not that much (then again... your in crook, i mean cook county, lol). They are not illegal or banned in cook, but you may have to pay higher taxes w. liability and all, but Im not too sure. Some apartment complexes have breed restrictions, but thats all I can think of.
