Who do you think is going to grab that final wild card spot in the AL? Personally I think the Yankees will end up getting it, though I hope I'm wrong. I'd rather see Seattle hang on or if the Tigers can go on a run for them to get it. Just anyone but the Bronx Bombers.
Because I'm a Yankee fan, I'm going to have to say the Bronx Bombers will win the Wild Card. Even though our pitching hasn't been great lately, we are still one of the best htting teams in the league, and we could use that to our advantage. Also, we're only one game behind the Mariners, and it should be a very easy deficit to overcome for the Yanks.
I think the Yankees have this spot. They are playing good and should keep playing like this throughout the year. The pitching staff isn't doing great, but that could change.
Yankees will win it. The pitching will come around with Clemens, Wang, Petitte, Hughes, Joba and now the Yankees called up stud prospect Ian Kennedy....were good.
