Well, they don't have a well developed point guard, but you don't want to be trying to run the whole thing through KG, 'cause then you reduce Allen and Pierce to spot up shooters. They're far better than that. These guys would actually be really well suited to the triangle, if it didn't take a year to learn, and need a coach who really understands it. You're other option then, in order to utilise these guys in the princeton, is to put Pierce in post up situations a lot - which he is very good in. But that means he has to retain his weight, and given the fact that he missed 30-some games last year, and more weight = more stress on the body, that might not be a great idea either. The alternative then, (and one which Doc Rivers can probably teach) is a pick and roll series, which would force double teams and inevitably leave one of the three open. In an ideal world though, I'd choose the triangle.
